Hi, I got my first CTD today:) its a 2001 quadcab 4x4 longbed with an auto transmission. Also the the place i bought it from said it had 4. 10 gears. I have been wanting one for years i was trying to decide weather to go 12v or 24v and auto or maual. I could,nt pass this one up it only has 39,000 miles on it the last one i almost bought got snached up before i could get my loan  . It drives and handles alot different than my bronco does you can feel the road and the weight more but i will get use to it . Hopefully this auto trans will last for a wile :D Im holding out on mods exept gauges for a wile thanks for all the good info here it will help make this baby last :)

BKenny - Welcome aboard! Congratulations! Sounds sweet 39k miles & 3 years old . . . sounds like a lease turn in. Good for you, someone else paid the depreciation:-laf When I got mine in 01 it had 75k got it for a song like you I couldn't let it go. Found on the internet @ a dealer 150 miles from home, once I saw it, it was love at first sight.

Hope your is as good to you as mine has been to me.

Good luck.

Congrats, I can't explain 'em. Cummins are kinda' like Harleys. They're an antiquated design that just seems to endure, evolve and work as designed. If you get to love yours like I love mine you'll be a happy trucker!
