Been hanging around for ages ...enjoy and appreciate you Guys knowledge and supporting each other...

So , just got 3500 Laramie Longhorn & loving it. Now want to wire 4 KC spots on light bar on front. Question is , does my truck have the auxiliary plugs for the 2 spare switches (blanking plates now) in the engine compartment somwhere? ( or is this just for the Chasis Cab. Cannot find any reference to this other than commercial Chasis Cab anywhere?)

If yes , should the Truck have been supplied with wiring harness?
lastly , where can I buy extra OEM switches to install in the panel that has the blanks?

thanks as always...

If your truck has the OEM dash panel auxiliary switches just below the radio bezel, then yes, plug n play. Search here on TDR how to wire.

If not, you're better off getting an aftermarket Painless wiring fuse block. Then wire your aftermarket accessories into it, avoiding the electronics of your OEM

harness.

For a touch more, you can install an sPod system and significantly reduce wiring and worries (of shorted power wires around the firewall) along with extra circuits ready to do whatever you want.

This is one way to do it.
