Newbie questions

Just got an '02 2500 quad cab and have few questions



1. when the truck is idleing the tach will jump around about 50 rpm is this normal. it's rock steady when driving.



2. when its idleing in neutral with the clutch in and i let it out the engine will rev sligthly is this normal?



3. I have remote locks, when locking the doors i can hear something, a soleniod noise from under the hood is this normal?

4. Get a fuel pressure guage on that bad boy sos you can keep an eye on the notorious electric fuel lift pump. DC's crown jewel of engineering.

I have the same things happening on my truck. It seemed normal to me. I've had mine about a month now. It just hit 50K. The first mod I will be doing is FP gauge. Welcome to the TDR, I have already learned a LOT!!!!!
