A couple of questions. How do you check the tire pressure and add air to the duel rear wheels? Also which rear tire takes the most wear? the inside or the outside?

Thanks

Dennis

Take the wheel off......

Not really, there are chucks with angled heads that will work. Just not easily.

I bought an extension kit for mine. Took both wheel hoses out and mounted them to the center cap with rivets. They are braided steel hoses so they look pretty sharp too. Haven't had a leak with them yet.

Kit was $65 and included all four hose, brakets, nut & bolts etc.

I got it at a trucking store. NAPA had some individually but were way pricier.

Just my 2¢ worth,

Quickest and cheapest way to go is add one inch extensions to the stem on the outside tire and get a long, angled head gauge. Be aware there is some discussion that the added extension will weaken the valve stem due to rotating force.

Odd thing is I went with the SS braided lines, but returned them when the pgk. was stamped "not to be used with rubber valve stems". The DC manual states that our rubber stems are unique, and they are the only ones that can be used with our DWR steel rims. My truck came with plastic extentions that allow me to use the long angled chuck, but I hate the flex of the stems which is a PITA.
