Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Finally got myself a diesel pickup, could not find a new one I liked so I bought a 2003 model. It is a bit long since it is a 4 door long bed model.
The previous owner installed a banks 6 pack setup on it so I have been very happy with its power output. I was happy on level one but level 4 is more amusing.
I went ahead and did the fuel pump upgrade at the dealer I bought the truck from, went from a puller to an in tank pump.
I have been reading this and other pickup truck diesel sites for years but I finally decided it was time to find myself a proper pickup.
I am still learning about this specific truck and the banks system but so far no surprises and I am very happy with the mileage since I traded in a gmc yukon that got the same fuel mileage this pickup is giving me.
