After reading this forum for about three weeks I just had to join. Im a newbie. This is the first diesel I have owned. It was my dream truck. And thanks to you members I got me a strap wrench and did my first oil change. My wife was worried that I couldnt do it . A piece of cake... thanks to yall. Just wanted to say hi and I look forward to maybe helping someeone else. You guys are great!!

This is my first diesel truck also and I wont ever own anything else. You just have to love putting 18,000lbs behind the truck and pullin over Mt. Eagle and passing all the little Powerjokes and Maxipads.

My 2000 RAM is my first diesel truck as well, and the TDR web site was one of the driving forces that put my in the direction of the mighty Cummins. If you read all of the PSD literature and take a look at the specs on paper, that 7. 4L V8 sure looks good. When you later realize that injectors are $400 a piece and require a mechanical engineering degree to work under the hood, the beauty and simplicity of the Inline-6 cylinder Cummins really shines. The performance, improved fuel economy, easy of upgrading, and better (eg: louder!) sound are all bonuses to me!

DavidLR, Welcome! Yep, its the best $35. 00 spent on my part for my truck. Just don't let these guys get into trouble with the wife BOMBING the truck



Mine can't understand why last year I said this is the best truck anyone could own, then I had to put the EZ on, then modify the Valve Body, then add the guages---ect... .
