Attention: TDR Forum Junkies About two weeks ago, my EZ crapped out and threw a bunch of codes. So I send it off to Edge and like magic a new box appears on my door in 10 days! It only cost me the price to mail in the old one.
GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM EDGE.
But here's the interesting part. With my old EZ (when it worked right), I couldn't slip my clutch at all.
But this new EZ goes on and I smell clutch smoke for the first time!!! It feels VERY strong-- much stronger on bottom than the old box!
It also seems to have more timing than the older one did-- it rattles more.
Could THIS be the reason that some of the EZ/PMAX stacks weren't working well?
I know that either or both TST and Edge have played with the timing their boxes deliver.
Anyway, I had to dummy my EZ until I can get a clutch in it. The new box is just too strong!!
