I would agree with you EB, but the check engine light stays on and its only getting 13 mpg empty or loaded. I thought about taking the light out of the check engine light, I wont even be able to sell it with it on all the time. . ,lol... ... They just cant seem to figure out why it stays on...

If I remember right at one time you had a box of some kind on your truck, I believe you said a mp8? what ever that is. Are you still running it? Do you have any codes? If you are getting 13 mpg loaded or unloaded there is nothing wrong with that. I get around 13 pulling the trailer empty, (about 9800 lbs) and average around 10 mpg loaded. That box could be causing your ck engine light if it is still on the truck.

Yes I have a mp-8 on my truck. I unhooked it for 30 days and my mileage went down . 5 and the check engine light was still coming on with the mp8 sitting in my garage. I’m not trying to be a smart *** but I run just as many miles as you and pull just as many loads as you. I started out with a 91 dodge and bought many in-between. I don’t know what to say, but that this truck has been in the shop far too many times too count. I’m so happy that you have been blessed, but EB have you read the post on here, I’m not the only one having these problems. We can argue or fight, but if enough of us get fed up, we can send dodge a pc of our mind. If I was the only one having problems then I would say what the hell and figure im unlucky. My last dodge has 358,000 miles on it and it’s a 2001 on the original automatic transmission and original injecti0on pump. So to say im doing something wrong in the way I treat my truck is an insult to all of us. It has an edge on it and is still going strong with no problems which are more than I can say for this 2007 pc of ... ... ...

I re-read my post to you and don't see what you think there is to argue or fight about. I was making some suggestions and certainly didn't suggest you were mistreating your truck. You didn't say anything about taking the box out and getting better mileage and the ck engine light still coming on. I guess there is nothing I can suggest that will help you any so I will drop off this thread. By the way, 13 mpg pulling a trailer is not bad at all.

i've got the same box on my 07 c&C and im getting 17 and 18 mph unloaded. and about 13 loaded check out the maf sensor ive had mine replaced 3 times
