Newly Installed Gauges

These two guys helped me install my new Diprocol pyro, boost and trans temp gauges. The trans temp is not currently hooked up but the lights work, it is just waiting for me to install a new trans pan so the sensor can be installed and have that working.



OK, now its time to dust off some of those old brain cells as it has probably been a few years since you have seen numbers like this.



Max Boost: 33-34psi

Waste gate: 33-34psi

EGT(post turbo):

High:650

Low: 400

mostly 550-600

Boost during straight and level with cruise 0-~65: 5psi 65- up ~10psi



In the distant future I might put another pyro sensor pre-turbo. Is it possible to connect 2 pyro sensors together when same make/model sensor are used like in jet engines?

I probably wouldn't try to connect two pryo sensors together but you might be able to hook sensors to the gauge through a switch. Probably a better way would be to get a Westach combo boost/EGT gauge. I've heard the Westach gauges are pretty good but a bit harder to read then the Diprcol gauges.



For what its worth, the max boost I've seen is around 25 psi with a cruise reading of around 2 or 3 psi. My EGT (pre turbo) runs between 500 and 600 in city driving on level streets and jumps to 800 when climbing hills.
