I got these rims painted Saturday and have the 315 70 17 BFG A/T's on them. I know, I have a couple dents and the truck is flithy! I put a picture in there from the back so you can see how far they stick out (have some pocket fender flares waitin' to go on). And yes, I am going to be putting the Dodge hub covers on, I just have to modify them yet. Tell me what you think!

You find that the paint on the truck needs alot of waxing and cleaning to keep it looking nice? I have the same burgandy on my truck, the paint is not as durable as the paint I had on my 89

Yes, I do find that it takes a lot of time to keep it looking good. A particular problem area that I have is that water seems to be retained in the window weather seal in all 4 doors, and constantly dripping down the truck at the back of each window, leaving a 1 inch or so wide streak down the the truck.

no i have not. Ive seen them powder coated but tthought they would eventually flake off.

Looks good JDiepstra. I like the look better with out the caps, just paint the hubs. I'd even paint the nuts too, or for a little accent get some chromed ones... ... but I think blacked out looks better. I cant afford new wheels but have been thinking of doing the same thing to my stock wheels. You've just convinced me to do it!

I think I will paint the hubs and nuts. The hubs seem pretty well sealed. No harm in exposing them directly to the weather?
