Powerstroke Question

I just heard from someone that works for a Dodge dealer that Dodge will have a medium duty truck for 2003. He was at a seminar where they were discussing the new models and they stated that there would be a 4500 Dodge Ram. I could not find any info about what engine it had or if it would look like the current 2002 Ram 1500.

Has anyone else heard any info on this.

There are a lot of rumors floating around about a heavier duty version of the 3500 series Ram truck. One rumor is that it will have a M-B diesel engine.

Another one is that it will be called a Sterling and sold through Dodge and/or Sterling dealers. Sterling, if you recall, is the old line of Ford heavy duty trucks purchased from Ford by D-C's Freightliner and was redesigned and rebadged as Sterling.

A web site you can check on that is updated weekly is Car & Truck News. http://www.car-truck.com/index.html They keep up with the latest DC "buzz" and news.

Stay tuned--interesting things are happening!!
