Ok. Now that I have the gauges installed and the dowel pin tabbed what should be next? The truck will stay a daily driver, tow a trailer with 2 Polaris ATV's and eventually carry a camper.



1. TST #10 plate

2. 3gsk

3. aFe or scotty II

4. New Exhaust system

5. Mag-Hytec pans for transmission, front and rear differential



Also which is better the aFe or the Scotty II? I am leaning toward the Scotty II but would entertain all opinions from folks running either.

Fuel plate, then Scotty 2. After the plate play with the star wheel a bit to control smoke. As for exhaust, any four inch will work great.

Thanks for the reply. Looks like I will be talking with TST about the #10 plate. Now I'll just have to wait to build up some money.

I used the scotty 2 and the AFE, No real difference in EGT etc in my opinion. The thing I didnt like about the scotty was the noise from the air sucking through the cab vents. Although I kept the hole there with my AFE but I put some baffles in the cowl to cut down on the noise. Either one is a good choice but I would make the AFE setup first, after the fuel plate, more fuel needs more air. Good luck.
