windows xp/linux question

I think Alex Smith(QB) will go to SF first, they really need help there.

Sleepers? Since I'm in Colorado I'll take(and hope Denver takes) Vincent Jackson the wide receiver from Northern Colorado. Big for a receiver though, he may get switched to tight end.

Other sleepers? Whoever gets Mike Patterson the defensive tackle from USC, is getting a player. Kind of short at 6'0, but great motor. I also like Michael Roos the offensive tackle out of Eastern Washington.

This draft ought to be real interesting since there is no real clear cut #1 pick this year.

Whats your opinion?

I'm thinking Alex Smith as well. As far as sleepers, I really dont know, there will be some lineman somewhere in this draft that will be good. So you like Denver? My teams the Browns, what do you think about getting all of our overpaid defensive line?

I think we got all 4 of them for 5. 8 million in cap space this year, thats what I read in the paper anyway. They are all mostly one year tenders so they better show up and play well if they want the big money. Most radio critics here are calling them the Browncos now. I personally like the most of them, especially if C. Brown can get healthy. Our defensive line stunk it up last year, absolutley no pass rush. Thats why Indy waxed us twice in the playoffs.

We'll have 5 #1 picks playing defensive line next year. Brown, Warren, Ekuban, Luther Ellis and Trevor Pryce. So, were hoping.

Too bad Modell pulled that stunt on you guys, the Ravens are pretty good, and Ozzie Newsome knows talent. You guys like Romeo and Savage?

Hmmm

Being from Raventown I gotta say the whole damn NFL did us wrong for years. Art had the class to leave Cleveland the Browns and thier History. You can't say the same for The Colts :eek:

Lookin for another Superbowl but it means staying healthy and focused. I like seeing the Browns getting better. I hought they were close last year but the QB should have been kept. That man is tough ;)

I dunno. I think the 49ers will take Aaron Rodgers. Who knows. I don't know what's going to happen, I think there are going to be some serious trades come draft day. But I expect Mike Williams to go in the top 5, I think he will be the catch of the draft, even though he was forced to sit out last year. I think he's better than Braylon Edwards any day of the week. As for the rest, I'm pretty much wrong come draft day anyway.

Anyone know the name of the big bad defensive end who was on the hot seat for busting up a few QB's last year. Pretty sure he is coming out and will be overlooked by some for a percieved attitude problem. The guy is a beast and will be an impact player. I am hopin Ozzie gets him for the Blackbirds :D

Anyone else heard rumors of Jamal Lewis going to Miami for draft picks??? :confused: May not be a bad deal if he will be too high priced for the Ravens to sign next year. Get something for him while you can type thing ;)

Having the number two pick in the draft I am glad to see no "can't miss picks" at the top of the board. Otherwise we would pick him and he would vanish from the face of the earth :-laf

Art the Fart is the most classless person there is alive(is he dead yet :D ) He didnt leave the "Browns and the history" Cleveland sued him to retain it. It was crappy what happened to Baltimore with the Colts, but to then do it to another city was ridiculous. I grew up hating the Broncos and Bulls and Steelers, but now I hate the Ravens and the city of Baltimore more than any. I'm not saying I hate you personally, so dont take it that way.

About the Browncos and your new Dline, you guys might have had a terrible Dline last year, but did you happen to catch any Browns games last year :eek: The thing with Courtney was that his talent was never in doubt, when he is healthy, he is a force to be reckoned with. Ekuban was very solid last year, I was sad to see him go, but we are moving to the 3-4 and he doesnt fit in. Warren is a POS, and Myers is a solid backup. Browns fans are pumped about Romeo and Savage, we are actually moving in the right direction.

I understand your feelings

I know how you feel and do not take it personally ;) Funny We love ART here and you hate him. Wonder if they love Irsay in Indy? :-{}

Don't know about the law suit but I do know no one in Baltimore would have stood for leaving the name the Browns. Makes for a great rivalry though :-laf :-{}

I doubt the Browns would have ever won a Super bowl, only took five years here to do it. :-laf :-laf

Not having a football team for many years really sucked at least the NFL ponied up and got you a team ASAP. Damn we were in line behind Florida and probably even Mexico for that matter. Damn commish musta had a bad crabcake or something :-laf

Never been to Cleveland and only work (and eat lunch) in Baltimore, but as far as cities go Baltimore is pretty cool. You just gotta overlook all the drug dealers, prostitutes, corrupt politicians, and other scum. And that is just the Ravens starting Squad :-laf :-laf

Last thing. Isn't it Ironic that the game most point to as the greatest game ever played was between the Baltimore Colts and the Cleveland Browns :eek:

I thought it was Colts/Giants? As a Wyomingite in exile, I still bleed Broncos orange and blue come f'ball time, even here in the land of the Redskins. Indy's broken my heart two years in a row, but the folks around here get real quiet when I tell them I'd take a wildcard loss over the travails of the Redskins any time. I'm hoping for good things from the Browncos!

Lon is correct. Guess I was giving Cleveland more credit than they deserve :-laf :-laf Well they do have the Rock and roll hall of fame :rolleyes:

Ahh the Broncos. Do they teach Colorado High Schoolers to Chop Block or is that just a Shanahan thing? Jake won't ever get you where you want to go. He does not have that special something. For that matter I am not sure Payton manning will ever get a ring either, May be another Dan Marino. In Mannings case it may be a deal where he makes so much $$ that in the salary Cap world the rest of the team will not be paid enough to support him.

Actually, I think the chop blocking thing was from Alex Gibbs - who I think is now with the Falcons of all places. He semi-retired for health reasons but was still consulting for the Broncos until last year - I wonder what happened there? Unfortunately, I think you're right about Jake - though he's a lot better with the Broncos than he ever was with the Cardinals. Of course, that's true of ANY player, but still. They said the same things about John Elway (or is that Saint John in Denver?) until 1996, but he got his rings at last. Jake's just not as good as John ever was.

Oh, speaking of Halls of Fame - anybody who gets out to Ohio should go see the Pro Football HoF in Canton. I visited last year and it was really a good time. Smaller than I expected, but very interesting. I'll try to get to the Rock and Roll HoF next year.

I heard the Dolphins are the team talking with the Ravens about the number two pick in the draft for Jamal Lewis ;)

I think they will end up taking Ronnie Brown from Auburn... either one would give this Gator fan the shivers :-laf

Yea the cut blocks were a Alex Gibbs specialty when he was in Denver. The NFL just made the backside cut blocks illegal, I'm not sure about how the new rule reads entirely though.

Back to the draft; whoever gets the #1 pick will have to shell out a $20 million signing bonus. SF has a bunch of "dead" money on their cap from previous player dealings and are in cap purgatory. They may trade their pick

and move down. I'd like to here from some SF people and get their take.

Yea the HOF is a good time, I love going there. I played college ball at Fawcett stadium where they play the HOF Game. Its nice being at the birthplace of the game that you have grown up watching and seeing all of the history that they have there.

Any fantasy Footballers on here? Would be cool for TDR to set up a league. One more thing to fight about :-{}

Yeah I play fantasy football on Yahoo. Never play for money or anything like that though. Maybe we could somehow work it to win something related to TDR or somthing like that?
