Competition Nhra Powerade O'reillys Fall Nationals

The NHRA POWERADE O’REILLY FALL NATIONALS will be this weekend starting Thursday morning. I will be running in Super Street, which is a 10. 90 index class. I am the first to ever run a diesel powered any thing at a NATIONAL event; everyone is welcomed to stop by and hang out. Come out and witness the overwhelming attention that people are giving to diesel motorsports in a 99. 99% gasser world. NHRA is totally in to having a diesel class in super stock next year ,and from the PM’s on here so are a few of you . Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo.

I’ve had to spend a week getting ready; this is more nerve racking then running comp. I have had to take the fogger nozzles and bottle out of it, so this will be straight motor with the exception of water injection for an intercooler. Everyone you can’t miss my trailer it is rapped with the Predator logo as well as the truck pulling it. It’s loaded down with something cold, snacks, and on Friday night RAY-MAC racing, engines are cooking ribs so come by and say hi.

Fast, but where are you?

I just spent most of an hour searching the NHRA event website looking for this great run. I found your name and number 461. It lists you in Super Street class. Then I searched the results for all days and there is no mention of you making a pass anywhere.



Please, what am I missing?

Not according to Doug Doring...



He used to hold the title with his tube chassis twin-turbo (non staged) 2-stroke Detroit 6V-53 powered truck... 9. 27@142. His truck is still VERY cool... I've seen it run quite a few times at E-Town. When he can make a full pass without oiling the track... it runs mighty sweet.

Exactly! Maybe old Doug will start to have some more respect for the 4-stroke diesels of the world. He used to make fun of Deo and I for talking about the evil things we wanted to do with a 6BT... :-laf
