I saw this on another website. Some were speculating that nearby homeowners have put a legal thumb on the track do to noise?? Reminds me of people that purchase homes next to the airport and complains that it's noisy.

That wouldn't surprise me. I've read that there have been ongoing legal battles over the road course at the National Corvette Museum over noise so it wouldn't be the first.

Interesting however as a LONG TIME drag race fan I quit watching when FOX took over the broadcast. Commercial after commercial and I can't stand Tony Pedragon (sp).
I have not watched since Fox took over. Couldn't even tell you who won what since they did.
But it is a shame that a historical track is shutting down.

Hate to see it happen. I have not been there for many, many years. I liked Maple Grove better, though.
