It replaces and upgrades the oem filter on 2007.5 to 2009 6.7 CTD trucks to the better, newer FS2 style filter.
It is comprised of the newer FS2 filter AND the bottom half of the filter canister that fits onto 2007.5 to 2009 3rd gen trucks.
