Nice mega mega cab

This is an 06 mega cab stretch I came across in Ohio this past weekend. The owner said he bought it used with 19k miles and had his five sons help him cut in in half in a day, much to his wife's disapproval. He stretched the frame 27-3/16", and fabricated a new roof and floor pan so as not to have any welds in the roof or floor, and uses it to pull his 5er. The truck had Michigan tags, and the owner said he builds tractors for pulls and did this as a transport vehicle to the tractor pulls.

That thing is insane It looks longer then a good sized bus. I wonder how many football fields it take to turn around:-laf

Nothing more than that he and his 5 sons did the stretch. I just caught the owner as he was leaving the hotel and he gave me a brief tally of the work. I didn't ask how long it took him, but would've liked to know the cost.
