Well, i would like to take ashley somewhere nice this spring break. Specifially not too far from where we live (laporte, in) im willing to drive around the Lake michigan area. Ashley really need a nice vacation and i just dont know where to take her. any ideas??? thanks guys!

Wish I could remember what some of the places I saw on billboards on I-94 between Chicago and Kalamazoo, Mi. Saw some neat ones I would like to check out.

If you cared to go to Missouri, the small town of Hermann is pretty cool. Toured a winery there as well. ~1hr west of St. Louis.

we just passed through missouri, stayed in Fort Leonard Wood, real nice place. i don't know if i want to drive that far. Any other idea's?

The drive thru Upper Michigan is very nice. Although this time of the year is not as appealing as summer of fall. Kohler WI is nice town to tour on your way.

Door County Wisconsin dude! She will absolutely love you for it too! I took my wife there and we stayed in a real nice bed and breakfast overlooking the water at Sturgeon Bay and the lighthouses are awesome! Its just northeast of Green Bay. Do a search online for Door County and you will be amazed. Hope this helps! Chris

Add me to the list for Door County! :-laf My wife and I took a mini vaca there a few years ago with the 5'er. I drank a bunch of cherry juice and ate a lot of cherry stuff; i. e. pie. :D Also, may be too far for you but my hometown of Duluth, MN is a great vacation spot! Good luck!

A ride on the uss badger is pretty cool in warm weather. Or you could drive to the henry ford museum in detroit if you like old stuff.
