Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
... on vacation two weeks ago. I was towing the 5'ver and I ran the grade at 65 mph in 5th all the way up. Had some pedal left, too. EGT's topped at 975. transmission temp worked it's way up to about 215. Diff temps were steady at 200.
The funny part was passing the cars in the slower and middle lane.
There was an F-450 towing an unloaded flatbed trailer that kept running up on me, but not passing me prior to the grade. I really wasn't trying to do what I did, it just worked out that way. He either could not keep up or chose not to keep up. Either way, I was really happy with my truck pulling that grade with a heavy load... .
and beating the Ford to the top.
Last August on my way to Bristol, I got to pull the 5'ver up that new grade on I-26 going into Tennessee. I was able to run that entire grade at 60 mph. Can't remember temps, though.
