Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Lift pump concerns

I've got a stock 97 5 speed. My buddy has given me his 400 hp nitrous set up. This set up has an adjustable flow regulator, so basically I can adjust it to the levels that I choose.

So what I need to know is do I have enough fuel to make anything happen. Should I slide the fuel plate full forward to get extra fuel to use ? Also where should I put the nozzle, in front of the turbo or in the intake manifold.

Thanks

U need huge injectors and a major plate to let the nos work. it should be located in the center of the manifold or air intake horn. And go small at first like a size 20 or 30 jet

Don't know what it's worth, but I'd sell it and use the proceeds to fund a set of injectors. Then you have plenty power all of the time and no extra plumbing and no fancy fuel to buy.

And it's easy enough to make 400+hp on #2. 500+ if you try, and 600+ if you make it a priority.

Not the answer that you wanted but it IS what I'd do.

ya, Wade is really right, ... NOS should be your last step instead of your first. Oh and NOS isn't cheap @ $5-6 dolars a pound. over, and over, and over.
