Dave,

Saw them the other day at my local tire shop. They are very beefy:D Unfortuneatly, to run them on our trucks you will need a minimum of 4 1/2 inch lift and they will probably rub somewhere depending on what offset you run on your 10 in rims. They are super wide and if you run a lot of backspace 5in or more they will rub on the control arms and if you run less backspace 4in or so they will rub on the outside of the body if you have the wheels turned and hit a bump. definately look cool but not practicle on our trucks :(

sorry to burst your bubble

DD,

Okay, bubble bursted. I wondered about the width and rubbing. Nitto has come out with some new sizes recently, including a 325/70/R16. They aren't rated as high (3195 lbs) and are about an inch shorter. Maybe I could pull those off with just a leveling kit.

Thanks for the input.

Dave,

More importantly, they are around 2"s narrower. They should work with a leveling kit and if you go aftermarket rims, make sure they have backspace of 5 inches. unless your last name is rodriguez:rolleyes: I made this mistake on my first set of rims.

If i had it all over to do again i would go w/ 17X9 eagle alloys (5 in backspace) w 315/70/17 bfgs (I like the look of the larger rims)

Good luck

This is kind of off the subject, but I have a buddy here in AK (and on TDR) with Nittos (he has 18 inchers) and they are wearing real bad. He will be lucky to get 25K out of them. I really wanted Nittos because they look real nice, but I am not going to buy tires that only last 25K.
