Ok i hope someone can help me I have a 2019 ram 3500 dually I upgraded my the small radio into a 8.4 and everything worked find but I went to install the cargo camera the radio ac heat traction tow haul mode and engine brake stopped working. “ i think this may have to do with me putting the hazard light cord into the screen and the screen cord into the hazard lights “ I hope this can be fixed. Ok lets move one ok So I took the radio out and put the original one back in The radio work fine but everything else still not working . I didn't want to reset anything cause I don't know if it will mess up the tune. When i bought the truck from Cobb luxury cars they didn’t state that the truck was deleted. Can someone shine some light for me and help me try and figure this out

@Taji’sRam, Try disconnecting the batteries. This does a reset on the truck, just like on a computer. Shouldn't affect "tune" as this should have been written into memory on the ECM. Need to post up in the 4th Gen section as mentioned for more to see and respond.

Did you buy that deleted Truck by accident or did you know about the delete?
Because you'll have lots of trouble with that Truck in the future.
It starts with basic stuff that workshops refuse to work on it as soon as they learn about the delete and goes on with selling it in the future, updates to the software are also a thing of the past now even if they would be necessary for the proper function of the Truck and so on... even a simple possible DOT check is a problem.
Recalls come to mind..

These Trucks are high tech units, you have now a rooted unit.

If you can reverse the buy and return the truck to the seller - I would do it, immediately.

I didn't know anything about it till I took the truck to the ram dealership to get recalls done. And they told me it was

Nothing to do with "lemon law" and everything to do with deceptive sale. Find a better lawyer, or call COBB first and tell them you are getting a lawyer. If they know you are serious about that they will refund and sell it to some other poor sucker. Probably a lot to the story.

Point is - that vehicle was not legal to sell in the US. The dealer did wrong, not you as a buyer.
Like said, tell them you'll send the authorities after them if they don't take it back and pay you all expenses.

- Or they put back in all parts and software that was deleted, cost easily 10K$.

They can choose which ever they prefer.

Either you have a legal vehicle afterwards or non and the money back in your pocket.

@Taji’sRam, One call to the EPA about what the sold you will make them see the "LIGHT"! As stated by Ozy, truck was not legal for sale in the USA for on highway use. Call the dealer to say you will be retaining legal counsel and contacting the EPA about the sale. It would be far cheaper for COBB to either return your truck to EPA legal, or refund your money and additional for the hassles you've had to deal with! DO NOT take no for an answer!!!! They were deceitful in the sale and not forth coming with you about it. Even if they claim they didn't know, they have a duty to know what the are selling is street legal! Stand strong and we're here for you!
