Almost 90 degrees here today with mid 90’s for tomorrow, I went to push the button for the AC and nothing. The little light above it or the one above the button for the rear window defroster (same circuit I assume) don’t come on at all. I check the fuse box and fuse #32 (10amp) reads HVAC/ADJ PED LED/ HTD SEAT SW LED/ EXHAUST BRAKE. I assume this is the right fuse and it’s not blown it’s good. Is there any other fuses external to the fuse block for the AC system I should be checking?

Thanks in advance

Could be low on refrigerant, your low pressure switch will cycle the compressor on & off and if your pressure is below the openning pressure it will never come on, but not sure the lite will go off if thats the case. I never noticed the light cycling on & off with the compressor cycling.

My problem was my compressor would go off intermittently and will stay off for about 5 minutes and will come back of again and stay on. It was bad A/C control and was replaced under warranty. Might want to chick with dealer.

When my '06 was in for the blend door problem the tech said that he had seen a few with a bad ignition switch connection. He took the top and bottom off the column and found a lose connection. The A/C on those two wouldn't come on at all.

Hopefully it's not in the TIPM you definitely need to make a dealer trip for that... .
