I can't find out why i have no back up lights! The fuse is fine and the blubs are ok but not lights. Even my extra ones mounted on the hitch, which have been working fine since '97 are not working. Is there a fuseable link some where? Any suggestions?

Thanks!

My backup lights failed because of a bad switch in the transmission. It's probably an easy replacement but I'm not sure, I had mine replaced when I had my transmission rebuilt.

It's on the left side and screws in. You should let someone more competent answer because I don't know fot sure. Someone will probably provide more details.

My back-up switch failed, it is on the left side of the trans, (NV4500), easy fix... . then I stuck 55w halogen driving lights on the back for lighting things up when hooking or un-hooking the TT. I did not wire them to the back-up lights, a separate switch in the glove box worked for me.
