2009 Jayco 25' trailer:
Returned home from camping, unhooked trailer and Propane alarm started going off. Plugged trailer to electrical, alarm shuts off.
Now I find there is no battery power anywhere in the trailer when I disconnect the electrical. Battery is good and charges when on electrical.
Where do I start checking?

Start at the battery. Turn on a light or two inside the trailer and check the battery voltage with shore power off. If battery is ok, check the voltage at the cables. There are some 12 volt fuses somewhere, they might be near the battery or near the converter or inside trailer. bg

My tt is a 1988 and yours probably has a much better wiring layout than mine. But my tt has a 30a fuse that comes off the batteries to power the trailer. In my trailer, if that fuse is blown, the battery will charge, but no dc to the trailer.

And my 2004 has a self resetting breaker. So there is definitely some kind of circuit protection between the battery and the power panel on your Jayco.

I'd start looking for that first and see if there is power on both sides of it.

My 06 had a non-self resetting breaker for the slide. It was next to the self resetting breakers. It gave up and had been damaged somehow (rock? stick? vibration?). Check to find the self resetting breakers and see if they're all in one piece. Mine was on the front frame.

All of my Jaycos (the last I owned was a 2000 Designer XL 3610RLTS 5th wheel) had an in-line fuse in the battery positive cable about 6" to a foot from the battery positive terminal. It was in one of the rubber weatherproof cases with the pop-off lid.

Tractorat..pulled 30 amp fuse at battery box and it looked good but changed it out anyway. Now I have battery power back!
