I plowed snow on Friday nite and truck sat in garage till Sunday afternoon. Snow was the wet heavy type. When I started itruck and backed it out of garage I had no power steering or brakes. Moved it back in garage and took plow off to lightent the front end load and stiil nothing worked. Drove it out to the road and started down the highway and boom it all kicked and was working fine as of yesterday. Any ideas what happened??

Like said above, the first thing you need to do is check the level in your power steering pump. Check to see if there are any leaks from the power steering pump or the hydro boost system.

You may also have had a valve stick in the hydroboost. They're piped like a tractor hydraulic with 'power beyond': in from P/S pump, return to PSP, beyond line to steering gear. If something began dumping input pressure to the return there might have been no power for either the hydroboost or steering. Now, if you got it real warm plowing…similar scenario made me add a cooler to the circuit.

Fluid level is full.

We are going to get our Christmas tree later this am so I'll see what happens then...
