I have a 2000 4X4 quad cab auto and have been having trouble with a no bus issue after changing my injection pump a while back. After changing the pump none of the gauges worked and let truck sit overnught. Next day started fine and all gauges were working fine. I have since replaced my ECM as the injection pump was not the problem I was having with intermintate power loss. Driving down the road a couple of weeks ago and the gauges died and no bus was back. I have the truck at a shop and verifyed that all grounds are good and connections are clean and power is going where it should. They are unable to check the PCM or ECM. Need help.

First thought comes to mind is grounds after doing a job like that and then I read-
I have the truck at a shop and verifyed that all grounds are good
but I still question the grounds because of when the trouble started. Looking at a ground connection is not the same as doing a voltage drop test across it. The last "NoBus" Dodge I fixed was a gasser but the trouble was a ground that had not been tightened enough.

Or it could be your "bus".

I also have read that it could be a fuse in the PDC but you would have to a search "No* Bus" see if you can find the thread and which fuse.

As I understand it there is a bus under the dash(there mite be one in the engine compartment too. ) which relays data to many components and the dash guages are the last ones to ge the data.
