Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) No Cam Signal,high Egt`s

WELL GUYS INEED HELP! I`M SECOND OWNER OF MY TRUCK,SENCE I`VE OWN IT, I HAVE ADDED EDGE COMP DRAG,DD3 INJECTORS,SLED PULLER 66/14 TURBO AND A DTT TRANY. WELL STILL TO THIS DAY NOT HAPPY!HIGHT EGT, LOW POWER, LOTS OF SMOKE I TALKED TO THE GUYS AT HTT, AND THEY SUGESTED THAT IT MIGHT BE MY ECU NEED TO BE FLASHED. THE PERSON THAT HAD IT FIRST MIGHT HAVE USED A DOWNLOADER AND WHEN THEY TOOK IT OUT AND PUT BACK THE ORIGINAL, IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN CURUPT. THE GUYS AT HTT HAVE BEEN VERY HELPFULL, THOSE GUYS ARE GREAT. DTT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A+++++++ THANK YOU GUYS FOR EVERYTHING. CAN ANYBODY HERE HELP WITH THIS, ANYONE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM? what % is your T/C? what RPM are you running at? Drag comp and DD3s isn't much fuel for the 66 especially at lower RPM.

The T/c Im Not Shure But I Have To Hold The Brakes Good While In Drive. The Rpm Is About 1500 To 1800. Well If I Need More Injectors And A Better Box Then I Will Try To Get Them$$$$$. What About No Cam Signal? Is That My Prob?

most would say 1800+ rpm for that turbo. the cam sensor is a timing reference and timing means alot to spooling so yes.

Does your speedometer work? When my cam sensor died it also had no idle governor and no go power.

no my speedometer works, just no injection timming!well today i will try to get the ecu flashed at dealer? p. s now i have no comunication with the pcm with my scanner,only when the KOEO, running there is no comunications?

scan works KOEO but not running. speedo runs off VSS in rearend.

Well I Went To The Dealer Today With No Luck!the Dealer Said That They Had No One That Knew How To Do The Flash? I Tried A Shop That Deals With Dodge And They Couldn`t Flash It. If And When I Do I Will Let You Guys Know What Happen. hope That Will Fix My Problem!

If there is somebody in your area with a SMARTY, they can unlock it from theirs and flash your truck, then put it back to stock and yours will have the latest software flash. then they can put back it into theirs.
