Checked fuses. Replaced bulb. No +12v Every other light works. Could removing and re-installing the brake switch have caused this?

Electrical problems can be from anything. It could be a bad ground from the light itself. I would check that light very well, it is always easier to check the easy stuff first!! Good luck!

Yes. the switch can loose it's adjustment when removed. It is supposed to be a one time only adjustment. Some times if you are very careful you can redo it.

This was a car toys "gift"

They wound the sensor wire for the brake light over the metal brackets that hold up the steering wheel and it shorted. I need to send them a bill for 2hours advanced electrical troubleshooting. 80. 00 /hr is thier rate. :)

I was going to say the CHIMSL's are generally hard wired from the brake switch on most CJD products, and the other rear lights are TIPM/FCM controlled, but looks like you got it.

This was the case and a source of initial confusion (for me). It appears to have it's own 15A fuse (#24). :)
