Does anyone know which fuse controls the charge line to your RV on a seven prong plug. I need to know which number in the fuse box. I recently had the batteries replaced at a dealer, and just noticed I am getting no charge to RV going down the road. Thanks. John

I don't remember which fuse it is, but there's a label on the bottom side of your fuse box cover that lists which fuse goes to the trailer.

Thanks. Found the fuse. Unfortunately , That's not the problem. I have power at the fuse box, but not at the plug at rear of truck. Any suggestions on what else to check are appreciated.

Unplug the connector going into the trailer plug and see if you have power there. The plug may be bad

DITTO that. I only have 9000 miles on my truck and I wasn't getting a ground from the plug. I pulled it apart behind the bumper and put it back together and it all worked. I had no trailer lights or brakes. The rear connector plug seemed a bit of a small size connector to handle the amp load. If it screws up again, It is getting eliminated and the trailer plug is getting hard wired to the rear loom.

Don't cut that plug off. I have had the same one used on all 5 CTD's since 97 with no issues. Just open it up and put some dielectric grease in it.

I have several trucks but never seemed to have good voltage at the plug... I finally ran a true 8 gauge wire that's fused from the batteries... . the voltage at the plug went up almost a full volt, still less than measuring at the battery when the alternator is charging by almost . 5 volt but the batteries on my 5er now have a much higher charge...

I'd like to know of there is a work around the voltage control in the ECM?? any one know...

Thanks again. I've checked the plug and the wire feeding the plug. The wire itself has no juice beyond the fuse box. Any suggestions other than replacing the wire? Guess that's my next step.

If you know which fuse it is then start at the fuse box and check the wire that directly comes off of that fuse. You might have to use a test light that has a pierce point on it and go through the insulation. Maybe the problem is on the FUSED side of the panel. I know that the push in fuses have exposed points to check if juice is going through them but is the clip in the panel on the FUSED side making contact?? PLEASE let us know what you find.
