Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) no cruise after 6-spd swap

I was hoping you guys could help me with this little problem. my cruise control no longer works after i swaped out my auto for the 5600. I have seen a thread about this a while ago but cant seem to find it, any ideas??

when i did my swap mine did not work either cause i just grounded the nuteral saftey so the truck will start that also made the curise quit working then i put a switch on the ground wire that i could flip after i started it and that made cruise work and it worked for a couple months then quit working again

Also, when I did my conversion I tried removing my TPS since I figured I didn't need it anymore. I was going to donate it to someone who might need it. Without the TPS in place the cruise would not function. I guess it feeds info to the PCM which works the cruise. I put it back on and the cruise functioned as it should.
