Hi,

Looking for a Head Light switch guy.

When I pull the Head Light switch out slowly the dash Lights come on and stay on until the switch position is to turn on the Head Lights on.

The Head lights come on and the dash Lights go out.

Tried a new Head Light Switch and the same thing.

Need Help.

Hi. Awhile back you had a headlight/dash light problem. Did you fid a solution?

I have the same problem tonight.

Thanks. Mark

Were any of the wire ends burnt on the plug of the light switch? Sometimes when you buy a switch from the dealer, it has a new pigtail to splice in.

I would check fuses. I have had fused blow sometimes and the way the lights work after has been weird and hard to figure out. Probably sometimes get a back feed via ground or some such thing happen. On my dually when my dash lights go out the clearance and tail lights go with it. I have an RV tailgate I have added clearance lights to and must have a short there as after unplugging them no more blown fuses. Not sure this helps but a thought.

To make a long story short: NAPA to get a Head Light Switch replacement that comes with the Receptacle to splice on the Dodge Harness.
I cut the old Receptacle with about 1. 00" of the old wires left on so I could use it as a Reference, 2-3 hours and lights are great.
Should have done at the first sign of Problems. You might get Dodge to do it because this was a Recall on some models.
Good Luck
