Just got back from a vacation to Ireland. Not a single dodge anything over there. EVERYTHING is diesel however. They even had diesel ford Escorts, etc... They have cars that would really do well in the USA, but we haven't seen them. Not sure why!

Ok, so I exaggerated a little . . . but seriously, how much for a keg of holy water from the motherland?

don't know, but if you handed me that '03, I'd figure out a way! LOL!

I've never had one from over there, but my buddy says there's no comparison... that's saying a lot because he and I love Guiness!

Guinness

Been over there on business and vacationing couple of times (Dublin, Donegal mostly). Can't stand the exported Guinness; over there, basically lived on Guinness and Jameson ;).

Seriously, no comparison! And I do like beer (even put up with Bud if nothing else around :)

my favorite stout is Rogue Shakespeare Stout... but you can't find it everywhere, so sometimes I gotta "settle" for Guiness.

I'd rather drink High Life than Buttweiper!

The Guiness was good. I am not much of a beer drinker, but it sure tasted good. Coke is 2. 50 Euro (Over 3. 00 American) for a 6 Oz glass. Guiness was the same price for a whole PINT..... Diesel was about 1. 00 Euro ( 1. 23 American ) per Litre. I have been told it equates to little over 5. 00 per gallon. We in America have it easy...

I used to think Guiness was the best til I went over there and found Beamish. The best part about getting one of either in draft over there is watching the bartender pour it. They don't rush it and the beer just roils in the glass like it has a life of it's own. Tis a beautiful thing to watch. Reminds me of billowing black smoke from the Cummins.

Guinness is the Black Gold, LOL!

BTW, there are no Dodges in Australia either (spent two months there last year). The only DC products there are MB (incl. trucks) and Jeep (Grand Cherokees w/Diesels!!!). Fuel prices were hovering around the $1AUD per litre mark, which is very high for Oz... they were all flipping out (despite the fact that the economy improved... $1AUD is up to about $0. 80US when it was recently $1AUD=$0. 50US and stayed that way for quite some time). They do have Guinness though... and it has about double the alcohol that the US version has. The Aussie's don't care for it much (although there are a bunch of Irish ex-pats down under), but I liked it. A Brit fellow biker friend-of-a-friend I met down under said that he was a Guinness drinker, but didn't like the Oz version (it's brewed locally). No, despite the fierce US ad campaign to "spake 'strailian", they don't drink Foster's, LOL! They hate the stuff... Victoria Bitter (VB) is the grog of choice in 'stralia.
