i put a set of cab lights on last night, and now the map, dome, and radio dont work...

i checked all the fuses and they are all good so where should i look now...

all the doors where open for a long time and i took the over head console off and i never had the key on...

I had the same problem not too long ago. Look under the hood in the power dist. box. Check the 50 amp fuses there are 2 in there with a clear top. I found one of mine were blown and it's hard to tell if it's blown sometimes. You may have to pull it out and shake it to see if it rattles.

no there are both good... .

i pulled the stero out and checked it and the constant power wire and it is dead...

so i took my powerprobe and sent 12v to it and they all worked... and it didn't pop the circuit so it wasn't gounding out...

the 12v power is a pink wire. . where does it get its power from?

It sounds like you may have shorted or cut a wire up under the overhead control panel. Those are all on the same circut. My truck has a fuse that is not properly labled in the cab that runs all those items. I would use a Voltmeter to check the fuses. I've seen blown fuses that look ok at a glance, but if you check them with your meter they fail.

joshpeters... i did check every fuse with a powerprob (it's a hightech test light) and they where all good. .

gio... no i didn't pull the fues or the buzzer it still dings when the lights are on and when the key is in it. .

well i did do a easy fix but not the way i like doing things. . i took power from the key and put a 20amp fuse then ran it up to the pink wire in the stero area and t-tapped it in. . and everthing is working fine with no problems right now. . you would think if there was a short in that power wire somewhere it would pop the 20amp fuse but it dosen't so its like the wire just lost all power...

thanks for the help guys and have a happy turkey day... . shelby
