My 98' 2500 Qaud cabs dome and glove box lights inop and so is the radio, I checked the fuse and the power to it and that checked good, any suggestions??

Yep, should be the IOD fuse. It has the black protective cover on it vs the other 2 protected ones of a different color... ... . can't remember the color of the others. I believe it is a 10A mini.

What does IOD stand for?

Why is it "protected"?

I think mine blew this morning. I checked the ray dee eye oh fuse and it was good. ??? It was actually the mirror that blew it.

Dunno what IOD stands for?

The other two fuses have yellow covers on them and are for the air bags.

Mine kept blowing because of a problem with the underhood light.

IOD = Ignition Off Draw (or Demand).

Also chech your diagnostic connector under the dash... they are supposed to be connected to the dash via a little push plug... sometimes these break off and the "tech" simply "hooks" the connector onto a screw under the dash which in turn shorts the connector out and blows the fuse. I found this on my dad's 95CTD.
