NO EGR on early 04's

Just reiterating what cumminsluke posted, and carlton has told me. Luke received his first 04s, and they have NO egr. Order away boys! I'm gonna place my order this week or next!!!

Exhaust gas recirculation. 2004's built before Jan 1 2004 will not have egr. 2004. 5 (after Jan 1) will have egr.

yup. DC told me some time ago that the "04s being built right now have the same engine as the 03's" and that "the 04 HO trucks being built right now cannot be sold in CA".

this is the absolute best news that i have heard in a while. sorry cali boys&girls, but i want my HO with no cancerous egr system. i hope it is like that for canada too, and stays like that for until jan 1, 2004
