i have no headlights on my 95. park lights work, brights work as well, as do stop and tail lights. it can't be the fuse, cause it also controls the stop lamps. my guess is either the switch itself or moisture got in the lenses and blew the bulbs. .

a second ? i wanna eliminate my headlight switch anyway, the problem is i cant figure which wire controls what. i test lighted them all. i want to have 4 toggle switches in place of the oem switch! 1-headlights 2-park lights 3-dome light 4-cargo light. any help.

I'm not much help on the switch modification... . but my '95 had the same problem a few months ago.

I put new aftermarket headlights in and lost the low beams one day.

Everything else worked. I put a new switch in and a new multi function switch. . niether fixed it.

Turns out both low beams burned on the bulbs. I just didnt' think that could have happened so I never checked it first.

I took the headlight switch back but kept the new multifunction because mine was worn anyway.

Never had a problem since but I carry spare bulbs just in case.

If your wiring and bulbs are good look at your multi-function switch. Many times by switching from hi to low repeatedly you will be able to confirm this.
