My headlights (hi & lo) quit working this week. I installed the Summit kit a year or so ago. I assume it is the headlight switch, but wanted to see what everyone thought.

If you installed the summit kit, it's most likely the relay contacts that are corroded, or at least that was the case for me. Took them apart and cleaned them, reassembled with dielectric grease and have not had a problem since. I doubt it's your switch.

Be sure to check the hi/lo beam switch in the steering column. It may need to be cleaned. Mine will cause the headlights to go out completely periodically when changing from hi to lo beam. A quit few cycles of the hi/lo beam switch on the column brings the head lights back.
