Archived no headlights

I just got done installing a new motor in my truck and after putting everything together and getting back down to school there are no headlights. All of the interior lights work and so does the parking lamps. I had all the wires unhooked going to the headlights when i had the motor out inorder to paint the engine compartment. I checked and verything seems to be hooked back up now but where should i start to find the problem. Matt

It's a long shot, but try your high/low beams. Every now and then my headlights don't come on until I click the lever a couple times. I know there is an adjustment, just never seem to get around to it.

Check your ground connections and fuses. If that doesn't fix it then you will have to have a wiring diagram and use your meter.

I ended up just riging up a toggle switch under the hood to work for now. When i get home i'll try and figure out whats up with the thing. At least now i can drive this at night. Thanks guys, Matt

i had the same problem and what happened was i had a remote start installed and the wires they ran where to tight so the pulled on my headlight wires in what i was told was the multi function switch in the steering column i spliced in a longer peice of wire and problem fixed -- good luck!!
