No heat in cab

I have a 13 Ram, heater has never worked all that well. 2nd owner since 2017. Had the water pump recall yr. ago. Which coolant goes in? Purple or orange.(??)

If your truck is a Tradesman you are simply doomed. Every Tradesman and Express I've ever been in have been marginal at best in true cold weather.

My little VW on the other hand will literally melt your eye balls out on a 0 degree day. And it's got 17 years on the OEM heater core.

It's an Outdoorsman...will check which coolant it uses.

Just thought to give an update. The flushing of heater core did not work. I had the heater core replaced today and the heater is working fine now. Even the mechanic said that there was good flow trough the old heater core....
Also I called to dealerships and both had a heater core in stock.......I guess it happens more than you think...
Anyways, just happy to have heat again. Not so happy paying $ 1,100.00

Thanks for coming back to us. Happy to hear that the heater finally works now. Not happy to hear about that on such a young vehicle.
