In need of a good shop

Heater hoses reversed, supply goes into the bottom of the core first

you'd do better to take a photo than offer a few words of advice... for instance which hose off the engine is the supply and FWIW at least on my 2016 both the heater core pipes are level with each other.. and lack labels on either the hose or the heater core pipes itself..

thank you for the replies, no Idid not do it myself had dodge do stand the manifold is starting to squeal again ,Figured it was an air pocket but I don't know how to burp the system

I worry more about they used the wrong coolant to top off the system after the work. You wouldn't be the first one to end up with a system filled with Yello.
Because mechanically there is very little a mechanic could do wrong to that system. And it is self-bleeding, there is no burp the system or something, that's a thing of the past.

if he had Jello in the system, he would have more problems than just no heat.

Heater core is pretty small and first affected by Jello. The radiator doesn't plug as easy and also with just half the surface is still capable to keep the engine at temperature as long as you just do groceries.

We have seen that here before in the Forum and it happened quite frequently in the last years that they topped it up with HOAT instead of OAT.
It is a mess that RAM changed the coolant type so frequently for no real reason.

Ozy you'd probably be able to see that Jello in the surge tank..be my opinion..
anyway, these trucks are notorious for not having great heat and it takes long enough for them to get to operating temperature
so lets take you back to original question, guy made a exhaust manifold repair, and now it doesn't heat up.

whatcha think? air in the system ? low coolant level? can you even mix up the heater hoses on these trucks?
it
