2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission No heat!!!

Removed heat-A/C control housing to replace evaporator. All went smooth. Reassembled. Now, I have no heat. Also, air blows from all places when on max A/C and when air vent is selected out front vents (toward passenger) it also comes out on the floor. I have rechecked the vacuum hoses and they seem to be right. What should I do? All help is appreciated.

sounds like you might not have gotten the blend door pivot arm lined up properly in the guide holes.
