the blower motor has quit on me again. it has done this in the past but began working again if i drove awhile, as if there is a short somewhere. 400 miles later and still no blower motor, fuse is good. is this a problem anyone else has encountered? defrosting the glass in the morning will be fun.

If the fuse is good then now comes the fun part. First you need to check and see if you have voltage at the heater motor. If you do then the motor is bad.

If you do not then you need to back up to the resister block on top of the heater housing. See if you have any power coming in there for any of the speeds. If you have power coming in but none coming out. Then your resistor block has died.

If you do not have power coming in. Then you need to back up to the switch and check it. This would be the easiest way to trouble shoot this. Unless you feel like pulling the dash apart first thing.

I wouldn't mess around looking for a bad ground on this problem. If it was a bad ground then all the other electrical items would be acting up also. If the heater is the only item you have a problem with go after that circuit first.

My thoughts are switch. If it was the resistor block you would still have some of the circuits. Very seldom do you loose all the speeds at once on a resistor block.
