Hi,

1995 2500 Stock except,Napa Head Light Switch receiptcal with Head light harness to get the Lamp power directly from battery through Relays.

This set up ?6 years old and everything worked great.

Now I have low beams-no high beams with the blue light on dash saying they should be on.

Switch the relays around having no change. I'm stumped now.

Any ideas?

It is possible to have both high beam bulbs go out at once. I've seen it more than once. Use a test light on the bulb connector to verify voltage on two pins and a good ground one the other.

I had this problem years ago. With use of tilt steering while getting in and out of the truck, the high beam wire pulled out of plug be hind the steering wheel. Not to hard to repair just takes time. You should be able to remove the plastic cover and see if this is the problem. I think the wire is purple. It looked fine with the cover removed, but after looking and gently pulling on each wire the high beam wire was no longer in the connector. Reattached wire and all has been fine.

Nyoest,

I just checked with a test light. It looks loke you were right.

The High beam showed current and an old bulb worked.

I looks like they both went oput together.

Thanks.
