NO HIGH IDLE. . -2 this morning. truck was NOT plugged in. Did not go into high idle. As far as I know she has NEVER gone into high idle. With NO CODES. 2002 RAM2500, auto, 2wd, only mods; straight pipe, FASS 150/150 (without filters). THANKS.

The high idle is an option that has to be enabled in the ECM before it'll work. This can be done using a Chrysler DRBIII scan tool, and possibly some third-party performance programmers. See the attached TSB.



Also, by chance did you press the brake pedal during or after starting the engine? Pressing the brake cancels this function until you turn of the ignition.
