bought new horns found old one on truck tested them they were burned out and so was the fuse. changed fuse installed new horns , beeped horns they worked fine tried then a couple more times through the day they worked.

midnight or shortly after just going to bed and i hear a horn honking go outside its my truck! pulled the fuse. and killed the circuit. is it most likely inside the steering wheel?

What year is your truck? This actually matters. The 1996 - 1994 trucks use buttons that have to be lubricated with CRC brand Silicone spray now and then. DO NOT use any other brand, as the carrier fluid might melt the plastic! If not lubricated, the horn button will stick. Go ahead. Ask how I know this.

On the others, the horn 'button' is a membrane switch inside the center overlay of the steering wheel. It can also self-activate, but I don't know as much about them.

Could also be caused by an elderly horn relay. Cheap enough to replace on spec. It's in the box behind the battery on the driver side.

Not so horny anymore..

These things tend to happen after a few years into a relationship... My horns moan like a ... well... lets just say they can make a proper lady blush.

My horn tried to leave me, found it dangling from a wire under the truck one day, so I locked it up. now I couldn't put it back in if I wanted to... I forgot where I put it. One of these days I'll get the airhorns in
