2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission No keyless entry or alarm....

On my 99 Ram I have no keyless entry or alarm but do have the power doors\locks. Does anyone know if the truck "could" have these features but they aren't enabled? I would rather have the OEM alarm\keyless features but am pricing aftermarket alarms as I type.

Anyone have a particular alarm preference or any manufacturers to stay away from?

You would still have to have the factory "system" installed, physically. There is the control module, harness to factory wiring, horn, etc. The factory system is dealer installed and goes by the name EVS II.
