Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) no load engine miss

I have searched for a while and cannot find the answer to my question. When I am in park or neutral and rev the motor up to about 2000 rpm and then slowly let off the throttle it misses at 1100-1200 rpm. The tach just kind of bounces there and then returns to idle. Is this normal? Thanks

Anyone else have this problem? It also does it if you are going slow in 1st or reverse and let the throttle up, it skips, jumps or whatever you want to call it at 1200 and then goes down to idle.
