No Location Under User Name

Am I the only one it bothers when members does not list their location under their user name?



I don't know why it bothers me, but I guess it is just one of my pet peevs.

It doesnt bother me... but I do enjoy seeing where my fellow TDR members are from.

I guess some want to be anonymous from big brother DC or somebody. I figure Alberta is vague enough-if ya wanna find me you've got quite a bit of ground to cover!

I think being a open forum and Admins chioce of listing last names made some members be vague... . JMHO... . from CT

I think some are a little paranoid, others just don’t care about the location and yet others have a little fun with it. I. E. Location: Next to Nevada, etc.



BTW, how would we know it's their real location anyway

Sometimes it helps to know a person's location when they are asking a question that may be climate related.

I reckin some folks with the newer still-in-warranty trucks might want some privacy. As for the rest of us who are our own warranty stations, we are a bit more 'friendly'.

I even list my real name and city along with state. In fact if you want more info about me just e-mail me and I will tell you. But not soc sec numbers or Bank card numbers. I mean enough is enough!
