No More 2500 Quad Cabs till JULY

Well, They did it to me again. I just got off the phone with Dante at DC Customer Service. ALL vehicles of my 'type' have been cancelled and cannot be reordered until late June or early July.

This is the June Build Out we've all heard about but didn't want to believe. His only question to me (after I told him my first truck was cancelled after a month) was "Why does your dealer keep trying to order it?". He seems to think that all dealers were notified that "NO" 2500 QC's (and I don't know what other models are affected) will be built until the model change. He could not tell me what the changes will be nor could he confirm my disk brakes.

So this is just another case of the consumer knowing more than the dealer. #ad


Is it OK if I hang around till my truck eventualy shows up? Maybe August? : (

Yes,they cancelled my ETH/DEE 2500 Quad cab last week also, using ZA status code. Now they have a $1000 rebate on the Dodge Cummins Diesels, but I thing it superceds the previous incentive of low 1. 9% to 5. 9% Chrysler financing. I think you can not have both incentives,and low financing by crysler is non existant,now. Somebody needs to verify this.

Yeah, its okay to hang out, but while your waiting for yer truck why not go to the dealers every morning and test drive a Cummins and bring it back in the afternoon? #ad

I had someone call to check on my order today. She was told that it should be built the last week of June and ship to dealer in early July. She said something about there being a difference in 2WD or 4WD availability. Mine is 2WD. Anyway, throw that in the heap of rumors and misinformation and we could confuse anyone.
